Gross domestic product and gross value added in regional breakdown in 2021

In 2021, more than 1/2 of the national value of gross domestic product was generated in the 5 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Śląskie, Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie and Małopolskie.
In 2021, the shares of individual regions in the generation of GDP ranged from 2.1% in Lubuskie and Opolskie regions to 17.3% in Warszawski stołeczny region.
The increase in GDP per capita in current prices compared to 2020 was recorded in all regions – from 9.7% in Warszawski stołeczny region to 16.1% in Opolskie and Śląskie regions.
