The publication contains information on the size and structure of population, vital statistics as well as internal and international migration in 2021. The study includes an executive summary enriched with visual presentation of demographic processes, methodological notes and a tabular part.

Analysis of territorial differentiation of selected macroeconomic categories – gross domestic product, gross value added and gross disposable income in the household sector, compiled in accordance with the principles contained in the European System of Accounts 2010 (ESA 2010). The analytical description includes characteristics of the level and dynamics of economic development of regions and subregions as well as changes in the structure of the economy in spatial approach. The analysis was enriched with maps and charts and supplemented with a set of definitions of basic concepts used in national and regional accounts. The tabular annex is available in an Excel file.

In 2021, more than 1/2 of the national value of gross domestic product was generated in 5 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Śląskie, Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie and Małopolskie. In 2021, an increase of gross domestic product was recorded in all regions. Level of GDP per capita exceeding national average was noted in 4 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Dolnośląskie, Wielkopolskie and Śląskie.
