Provisional estimates of gross domestic product in regional breakdown in 2020

In 2020, more than 1/2 of the national value of gross domestic product was generated in 5 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Śląskie, Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie and Małopolskie.
In 14 regions a growth of gross domestic product at current prices was recorded in comparison to 2019, the highest in Łódzkie region – by 4.2% and the lowest in Mazowiecki regionalny region – by 0.1 %. Whereas in the remaining 3 regions a decrease was noted.
The value of GDP per capita in 2020 ranged from 41 315 PLN in Lubelskie region (68.1% of the national average) to 133 368 PLN in Warszawski stołeczny region (219.9% of the national average).
