The elaboration contains characteristics: of the natural environment (land area, waters, air, forest environment, nature, hazardous factors (emission of air pollutants, wastewater, waste) as well as economic aspects of environmental protection. The publication consists of an analytical part and a tabular part preceded by general notes describing the scope and sources of data. In both parts, a set of thematic sections was adopted. Statistical material presented in a tabular form is supplemented with methodological notes containing information on the principles and methods of grouping data and explanations of basic concepts and definitions. The whole has been enriched by a graphical presentation of the data in the form of maps and graphs.
