It is the second time that the publication has been made available under the publication series “Statistical analyses”. The study contains information on the characteristics and occupancy rate of tourist accommodation establishments in the territorial breakdown of the voivodship.

It is the first time that the publication has been made available under the publication series “Statistical analyses”. The study contains information on the characteristics and occupancy rate of tourist accommodation establishments in the territorial breakdown of the voivodship. Furthermore, the publication also presents information on i.a. location and natural value of the voivodship, transport infrastructure, cultural centres, sports and recreational facilities, health resort base and qualified tourism as organised by the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society. The study consists of the analytical part supplemented with a graphic presentation of data in the form of charts and maps as well as methodological notes. The publication is available on the website of the Statistical Office along with its tabular part in the form of Excel tables.

The publication contains data characterizing natural and touristic values, as well as the structure, location of accommodation establishments, facilities for the disabled, conference and sports–recreation facilities, bed places, tourists accommodated in tourist accommodation establishments in the Śląskie Voivodship. Statistical data presented in a tabular form complemented with analytical comments and graphical presentation of data in the form of graphs and maps.
