The elaboration contains characteristics of individual elements of the natural environment of the Śląskie Voivodship and the scale of its pollution. The publication consists of an analytical part and a tabular part preceded by general notes describing the scope and sources of data. Statistical material presented in a tabular form is supplemented with methodological notes containing information on the principles and methods of grouping data and explanations of basic concepts and definitions. The whole has been enriched by a graphical presentation of the data in the form of graphs and maps.
